Little Free Library

We raised funds to purchase materials and contract with a local woodworker to create a Little Free Library next to the branch, offering 24/7 access to books for our community. Stop by to take a book or leave one for your neighbors to enjoy.

Storytime Rug

A Neighborhood Literacy Fund grant allowed us to procure a brand-new rug for storytimes, offering a comfortable and clean space for children to enjoy time in the library. This replaced the old rug which was overly worn and dirty from many years of use.

LEAP Activities

We provide ongoing funding for supplies for LEAP afterschool programming. The LEAP program promotes a love of reading, offers homework assistance, and is dedicated to creating engaging content and activities for school-aged youth.

VR Headset

We helped the library with funding to purchase an oculus quest VR headset, fostering new and exciting ways to engage youth and adults alike while at the library.

Reading for Diversity Program

A Neighborhood Literacy Fund grant allowed us to purchase books and art supplies that celebrate diversity and other cultures. These will be handed out during youth programming at the library and at outreach events in local schools. We aim for this to be the pilot program for ongoing efforts to boost literacy in our community.
